SCHEDULE – INDIA INTERNATIONAL DEAF FILM FESTIVAL (IIDFF) 2016

1st Day Session 1 10 a.m to 1 p.m Arrival, Registration, Kit materials, Workshop on Video and Photography.
2 p.m to 7 p.m Inauguration, Keynote address and introduction to 4th IIDFF 2016 & DLF.
2rd Day Session 2 10 a.m to 1 p.m Workshop on Photography, Video shoot and Editing.
2 p.m to 7 p.m Film events show.
3nd Day Session 3 10 a.m to 1 p.m Sightseeing at Bengaluru.
2 p.m to 7 p.m Award Ceremony. Curtain down.

Opening session & film exhibition – afternoon: 2 p.m to 7 p.m
The first day afternoon session is the inauguration of the 4th IIDFF 2016. There will be speeches made by the deaf, hard for hearing and the hearing assisted by a sign language interpreter. One exhibition film of category 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes and 30 minutes will be screened of both Indian and International films. This is a ticketed screening programme for the deaf and hearing. There will be a dinner hosted by the sponsor.

Film workshops – morning: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The second day morning session conducts the workshop on digital photography and videography for the deaf, hard for hearing and the hearing. This event is open for deaf and hard for hearing registrants.

Film contest & cultural – afternoon: 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The second day afternoon will showcase the films which will be screened in 3 screens at the Knowledge campus of Jain University of all the four film categories by film length. This is a ticketed event for the deaf and general hearing public. There will be cultural entertainment and dinner hosted by the sponsor.

Film exhibition – morning: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The third day morning is scheduled for exhibition films as well as a sightseeing tour in Bengaluru City. The participants who wish to go for sightseeing may join the short organized travel across the city and the others will have the opportunity to be part of the screening of the regular exhibition films. This is a ticketed event for the deaf and the general hearing public.

Film award ceremony & curtain down – afternoon: 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The third day afternoon will have snippets of the entire programme, screening of the best film of each category and the award ceremony. Post the award ceremony the curtains will be down for 4th IIDFF 2016. The 5th IIDFF 2017 will be announced based on the interest shown by the hosting institution at prior date and voted by the IIDFF members. This is a free entry event for all registrants to the programme.

    Please tell us what we shall do for it?
    Do you provide any assistance in booking hotels for the period?
    What will be the charges to participate, these are some things on my mind.
